The breakfast here is wonderful, including yogurt and fruit, and the central location is convenient with close access to Lake Annecy, buses, and plenty of patisseries for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is excellent if you're arriving by train; it's also an easy walk to the Old Town and to the lake. The staff at the front desk was cordial. The air conditioner worked well. The maid did a nice job trying to keep the room clean; this is not an easy task with what she has to work with. We did get a quiet room on the back side, but the down side was it was looking out to a roof that is littered with cigarette butts and a wandering cat who would suddenly appear at our window each time we opened it.
This is a fairly run down hotel even though they've done renovations. The bathroom tile was covered with mold. The bed was miserable with springs poking into our backs. We asked for an extra blanket to put under the sheet to shield us a bit from this after our first night. The man at the desk was hesitant at first to give us one but when we told him the springs were poking us, he did give us an extra blanket. The advertised internet didn't work most of the time. The front desk clerk seemed to think it was a problem with our computer rather than with their server.

Staff was friendly and helpful, free parking within a few walking minutes, located in a nice area with bars and restaurants
Not really, maybe the room was a bit small

The best petite dejeuner of our entire 2 week trip to France- the coffee alone is worth the price of breakfast. Hotel staff were helpful (save for one desk employee) and kind. The bathroom was large.
The hotel is on a busy street. Parking was in a city lot nearby.

Had air conditioning. WiFi worked.
Parking (and driving for that matter) is a mess. If arriving by car, map out the closest parking deck (I think it was 'Carnot') and walk from there. Room was very simply 3 beds. Nothing special, but functional.

Property was well-kept and quaint, we really enjoyed this place.
We were upgraded to air conditioned double room with a view. The location was convenient, only 5 minutes walk to Annecy Castle.

Room was a resonable size, clean and comfortable. Location is very good- easy walking distance to railway station (gare), town centre and lake (which offers spectacular views of alps). Staff were very friendly and helpful- spoke good English. Breakfast offered reasonable choice of food in a nice setting.
There was no bar fridge.

The staff were helpful, interested in us, easy to talk to about places to visit etc. The hotel was situated in a convenient street, not noisy, close to shops and restaurants. We felt it suited our needs well.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
